What are Kevin's Key Priorities?
Government Spending
Congressional spending is out of control. Discipline must be instituted on the budget process to payoff the current $10,000,000,000,000 ( Ten Trillion Dollar) national debt. This debt is the burden of every man, woman and child in the United States.
Economy
Low taxes generate greater economic wealth for every American.
National Security
The main role of the federal government is to keep this country safe from terrorism.
Environment
This generation must be stewards of the earth for our children and grandchildren.
Immigration
The United States must close its borders for national security reasons. Congress must institute a worker visa program to accommodate the needs of business and illegal immigrants residing in this country.
Social Security
Social Security must be strengthen and enhanced. Personal accounts owned by the employees who pay into the system is but one method to strengthen the security of the system.
Health Care
Health care is too expensive. The quality of health care can grow and the cost reduced by a bi-partisan agreement of government, health care providers and drug providers.
Energy
The United States must become energy independent. We must be allowed to drill in this country on our known oil reserves, while we let technology solve the problems of clean coal, wind, geothermal, nuclear and hydrogen sources of energy.
